The use of video technology has now became a vital piece of equipment with Modern day professional analysts for reviewing performance, it is more reliable than live notations as you have the ability to rewind and view a specific chance in a game however it has some flaws such as technological errors and human errors when using it, for example if a analyst forgets to turn the camera on or the footage or camera breaks then you have no quantitative data for that game. (S Riewald, 2011)
Video Analysis also allows you to code the results in programs such as Dartfish and Game Breaker this enables you to build a timeline of things that happened during the for example you could be notating shots on target, Gamebreaker would show you when the shot was taken and also allows you to see a clip of the shot depending on if the game is coded correctly, a flaw in these programs is that they are expensive and require training on how to use them. Programs such as theses enable a analyst to visual give feedback to a player during the discussion faze of the coaching process.

Video Analysis in Coaching
Video technology is a useful tool not just for sports performance analysis but also so a coaches performance can be viewed and evaluated the same as a player would be. A Lynn Suggest that the use of video technology is crustal in bettering a persons coaching as a coach is able to see there own body language and style then to assess where they should be stepping in to coach using feedback or when then should have stayed clear. (A Lynn, 2010)
This section will use a example of a session plan revolved around Tennis , the filming is targeted towards the coaches so that there behaviour can be analysed.

First of all you see the Coach introducing the session to the group, with my self being one of the coaches in this video I can see that From this that I have not engaged the audience although I did not believe this to be the case during the session, I am now able to see from the video that when im introducing the session to a group I need to get everybody standing up and use more positive body language to promote enthusiasm. you can see that Iam standing up but however I have a slouched posture with suggests to the group that it is ok for them to lazy around to.
With out the use of this video I would not of been able to assess my performance as a coach a properly would of still carried on doing the same thing obliviously.
